Community Involvement

Community citizenship is a core element of our operating philosophy. Our commitment to our customers extends beyond the walls of our buildings into our communities. We have staff that live and work in the communities we serve and we have a truly vested interest in each community’s success! We pride ourselves on serving our communities by sponsoring events, donating to local causes and funding community organizations.

Although NB&T has made financial contributions to community causes in 2009, the most valuable donation we contribute is our time. In 2009, employees of National Bank and Trust donated 5,531 hours of time to help support local chambers, schools, community events and organizations. This translates to over 100 hours per week that our employees are volunteering in our communities!
