Enroll In Seconds

  1. Simply log into your Online Banking account
  2. In the options menu, choose Mobile Banking
  3. Enter your cell phone number
  4. Select your carrier
  5. Choose a unique 4-digit numeric Mobile Banking PIN

That's it! Within seconds you'll receive your first Mobile Banking text that contains a secure One Time Password** (OTP) and link.

Simply follow the link, input your User ID from Online Banking (referred to in Mobile Banking as Access ID), your unique 4 digit Mobile banking PIN and click submit.

Each time you access Mobile Banking, you will receive a text message containing a new secure OTP to use the next time you want to access your account.

If your phone doesn't allow you to follow links, simply write down the 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) contained in your most recent text message, navigate your browser to www.nbtdirect.com/mobile and enter your Online Banking User ID, your 6-digit OTP, your 4-digit Mobile Banking PIN, then click submit. Log On Anytime

  • Open the most recent text message containing your One Time Password (OTP)
  • Click on the link in the message*
  • Enter the same User ID you would when accessing Online Banking. (In Mobile Banking, the User ID is referred to as your Access ID)
  • Enter your 4-digit numeric Mobile Banking PIN
  • Click submit

Simply write down the 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) contained in your most recent text message, navigate your browser to www.nbtdirect.com/mobile and enter your Online Banking User ID, your 6-digit OTP and your 4-digit Mobile Banking PIN then click submit.

**A new One Time Password (OTP) is generated each time you log in to Mobile Banking and is part of the link used to access the system on your next visit. Since the link containing the OTP is only valid for one Mobile Banking session, it serves as an additional layer of security that ensures your personal banking information stays safe and private.

Mobile Banking is a free service offered by National Bank and Trust, however your cell phone provider may charge you additional fees for web access or text messages.
